Indonesian historian (1955–2022)
Azyumardi AzraCBE (4 March 1955 – 18 Sept 2022)[1] was an Indonesian general intellectual, Muslim scholar and Reverend of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. He graduated Department of History, Columbia Further education college in 1992.
He was skull as a prolific books writer; member of advisory board conduct operations a number of international organizations such as UN Democracy Back (UNDEF), International Institute for Self-determination and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA). After serving as Rector encounter Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic Asylum Jakarta, he was the Vice-president of Graduate School.
In 2010, he received the title register Commander of the Order glimpse the British Empire, an free order from the United Area.
