Maria Zhang (simplified Chinese: 张至仪; traditional Chinese: 張至儀, pinyin: Zhāng Zhìyí; born 8 August 1999), is a Polish-Chinese actress.
She appears as Suki in the 2024 live-action cram series titled Avatar: The Given name Airbender.
Early life
Zhang was indigenous in Poland to a Asian father and a Polish mother.[1][2] Around age one, Zhang add-on her parents moved to Peiping, where she grew up.[2] She spent summers with her parentage in rural Poland and speaks Mandarin Chinese, Polish, and English.[1]
While in Poland at age dozen, Zhang and her sister Zofia Zhang came across a record clipping of a community theatre group's casting call.[2] Later, she moved to Southern California give somebody no option but to attend USC.[1] Both of Zhang's parents are artists.[1][2]
Career
Zhang starred show the 2021 short film All I Ever Wanted.[3] The peel was an official selection differ the Los Angeles Asian Peaceable Film Festival.[1]
In December 2021, Zhang was cast as Suki overlook the Netflix's Avatar: The Extreme Airbender.[4][5][6] Released in 2024, description series is a live-action version of the original 2005 frolicsome series.
